Habitat for Humanity of Greater Indianapolis
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Indianapolis offers families long-term solution assistance in changing their living situation for the better. The program offers families who cannot qualify for a conventional mortgage the opportunity to become homeowners. Nearly 400 homes have been completed since 1987. By moving a family into home ownership, Habitat helps to make a stable economic base in the community. Habitat offers families in need a "hand up" rather than a "handout".
