FW Womens Bureau
Fort Wayne Women’s Bureau was formed in 1976 with the mission to promote equity and opportunity for all women. Its three major programs include Transitions (a residential treatment facility for women, many of whom are homeless, recovering from drug and alcohol abuse), Rape Awareness (a 24/7 Rape Crisis Hotline; free counseling for survivors of sexual assault; and Assault Awareness for Teens) and Women’s Enterprise (counseling, mentoring and training for new entrepreneurs and those who want to expand their business).
