YWCA of Northeast Indiana

YWCA Domestic Violence Services provides care through: Immediate crisis intervention at our Women’s Shelter. The shelter is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for women, men, and children escaping a domestic violence situation. Men are housed at a safe, off-site location. Clients may stay for up to 30 days per visit. The YWCA domestic violence crisis shelter provides a safe, nurturing environment for women and children to heal physically, emotionally and spiritually, to empower them to make decisions about the future.

  • Steps to Success provides a supportive environment for women to develop strengths and abilities to become self-sufficient.
  • Outreach Services to victims not ready or able to enter a shelter and Community Education Programs

    • Domestic violence affects our entire community. We are committed to reducing the number of domestic violence incidents in our service area and to improving the future of the women, men, and children exposed to domestic violence.
